Wir bieten euch in diesem Jahr 3 Kurse zur Wahl an:
• Hanse (Intermediate)
• Trave (Intermediate-Advanced and up, relaxed) - Warteliste für Leads und Follower
• Holstentor (Intermediate-Advanced and up, challenge)
Beide Intermediate-Advanced Kurse richten sich an erfahrene Tänzer, unterscheiden sich jedoch im Unterrichtstempo. Im Level Trave wird es mehr Zeit zum Üben der einzelnen Inhalte und auch mehr Raum für Fragen geben, während im Level Holstentor zügig vorangeschritten wird und die Lehrer:innen euch auch ggf. aus eurer Komfortzone herauslocken werden.
This year we offer you 3 courses to choose from:
• Hanse (Intermediate)
• Trave (Intermediate-Advanced and up, relaxed) - waiting list for leads and follower
• Holstentor (Intermediate-Advanced and up, challenge)
Both Intermediate-Advanced courses are aimed at experienced dancers, but differ in the pace of instruction. In the level Trave there will be more time to practice the individual content and also more space for questions, while in the level Holstentor level progress will be quick and the teachers will also lure you out of your comfort zone if necessary.

Hanse - Intermediate
Du tanzt seit mindestens 2 Jahren, gehst regelmäßig zum Social Dance und hast bereits an einigen Workshops teilgenommen. Klassische six- und eightcount Figuren (Side by Side, Tuck-Turn, Passby, …) kannst du führen oder folgen und auch Swingout, Sugarpush und einfache Charlstonvarianten sind kein Neuland für dich. Als Follower kannst du auch auf unvorhersehbare Schritte und Figuren reagieren. Vielleicht fällt es dir noch schwer unbekannte Tänzer:innen aufzufordern bzw. Tanzaufforderungen anzunehmen und du traust es dir nicht zu im Jam Circle in der Mitte zu tanzen. Aber du möchtest dich gerne persönlich weiterentwickeln, an deinem Styling arbeiten und im Umgang mit Rhythmuswechseln und Musikalität mehr Sicherheit erlangen.
Wenn diese Kriterien größtenteils auf dich zutreffen, dann ist dieses Level das richtige für dich!
You have been dancing for at least two years, go to social dances regularly and have already attended several workshops. You can lead or follow classic six- and eight-count figures (side by side, tuck-turn, passby, ...) and swingout, sugar push and simple Charlston variations are no problem for you. As a follower, you can also react to unpredictable steps and figures.
Maybe you still find it difficult to ask unknown dancers or accept dance requests and you don't dare to dance in the middle of the Jam Circle. But you would like to develop personally, work on your styling and gain more confidence in dealing with rhythm changes and musicality. If most of these criteria apply to you, this is the right level for you!
Trave - Intermediate Advanced and up, relaxed
Du tanzt seit mindestens 4 Jahren und gehst regelmäßig zum Social Dance. Gängige six- und eightcount Varianten, ein flüssiger Swingout, Texas Tommy sowie Übergänge in Lindy Charlston Figuren bereiten dir auch bei schnellem Tempo keine Schwierigkeiten. Du kreierst gerne eigene Variationen und hast dein persönliches Styling entwickelt. Du hast eine gute Verbindung zu deinem/r Partner:innen und Themen wie Musikalität und Rhythmuswechsel sind dir vertraut. Außerdem lässt du dich gerne auf neue Tänzer:innen ein und möchtest deine Follow-/Leadtechnik verfeinern. An verschiedenen internationalen Workshops hast du bereits teilgenommen und freust dich nun auf einen weiteren in entspannter Atmosphäre, wo das Tempo auch entspannt ist und Zeit für Nachfragen ist. Wenn diese Kriterien größtenteils auf dich zutreffen, dann ist dieses Level das richtige für dich.
You have been dancing for at least 4 years and go to social dances regularly. Common six- and eight-count variants, fluid swingouts, Texas Tommy and transitions into Lindy Charlston figures do not cause you any difficulties, even at a fast pace.
You like to create your own variations and have developed your personal styling.
You have a good connection to your partner and are familiar with topics such as musicality and changes in rhythm.
You also like to get involved with new dancers and would like to refine your follow/lead technique.
You have already taken part in various international workshops and are now looking forward to another one in a relaxed atmosphere, where the pace is relaxed and there is time for questions. If most of these criteria apply to you, this is the right level for you!
Holstentor - Intermediate Advanced and up, challange
Du tanzt seit mindestens 4 Jahren und gehst regelmäßig zum Social Dance. Gängige six- und eightcount Varianten, ein flüssiger Swingout, Texas Tommy sowie Übergänge in Lindy Charlston Figuren bereiten dir auch bei schnellem Tempo keine Schwierigkeiten. Du möchtest von den Lehrer:innen gefordert werden und ein zügiges Lerntempo schreckt dich nicht ab. Du kreierst gerne eigene Variationen und hast dein persönliches Styling entwickelt. Du hast eine gute Verbindung zu deinem Partner und Themen wie Musikalität und Rhythmuswechsel sind dir vertraut. Außerdem lässt du dich gerne auf neue Tänzer:innen ein und möchtest deine Follow-/Leadtechnik verfeinern. An verschiedenen internationalen Workshops hast du bereits teilgenommen und freust dich nun auf einen weiteren in entspannter Atmosphäre. Wenn dies Kriterien größtenteils auf dich zutreffen, dann ist dieses Level das richtige für dich.
